Buyers

Much has changed in the real estate business over the past 10 to 15 years. The role of a good Realtor has changed along with it. Since the average consumer did not have access to the home available in the multiple listing service, Realtors used to be the "gate keepers" of information when it came to homes on the market. Over the last few years, however, all of that information has become available to the public in one form or another via the internet. Where the Realtor used to advise clients about homes available on the market, now buyers can perform searches of those homes and view many of the homes' attributes online.

Nowadays, however, the Realtor can bring his or her clients additional resources, knowledge and the capability to negotiate in addition to specific property information. An added value Realtors provide is the ability to view all of the homes on the market that meet clients' needs and show them only the best of the bunch. A good Realtor can save clients hours and hours of time by providing this service.

A Realtor's knowledge of which neighborhoods are the most popular around town, those that are going through transitions and those that have proven themselves through the years to be the best investments is also a critical component to making a sound decision on a home purchase. In addition, a good Realtor brings the experience to handle a transaction cleanly and hassle-free in the increasingly litigious society we live in. Lastly, Realtors negotiate on a client's behalf to help him or her meet the price and terms desired for the right property.

How We Work With Home Purchasers

Whether it's your first home or one of many homes purchased throughout the years, we move at a pace that is comfortable for you. You have total confidentiality regarding your finances and motivation when you work with us.

We assist you through the mortgage process. We can refer you to excellent banks and brokers and we will help you understand lender fees, interest rates and the various programs available to you that best fit your needs and goals. We won't "steer" you to any particular lenders. We don't work that way.

Whether you buy one of the first homes you see or it takes a while to find the right home, there is never any pressure when working with us. We care that you make the best decision for you.

We continue to preview homes for our clients and closely evaluate others in the MLS to keep your time to a premium. We are one of the few groups of Realtors that still do this very valuable activity for their clients.

We show you all homes on the market, not just our own listings or our company's listings. We also show For Sale by Owner homes if they meet your needs. We are totally unbiased in the homes we show you.

When you find the perfect home, we will help you decide on the best offer to make by providing you with a recent sales history of the neighborhood surrounding the home. We will disclose everything we can find out about the property as well as how motivated the sellers are.

We can refer you to a number of excellent home inspectors, and we strongly advise you to ask friends and family if they have a good inspector that they can also refer. Similar to lenders, we don't steer you to any particular home inspector. We only want you to have the most thorough home inspection.

We will proudly present your offer and use our years of experience to negotiate the best possible agreement to meet your goals.

Whether it is referrals to a good lender, home inspector or a professional contractor, we DO NOT receive any compensation when we give you referrals. Our interest lies in you receiving the best service possible, not in getting a fee when we refer you.
