About Greg Zimmerman

Originally from the Midwest, Greg grew up in a family business and learned the value of a strong work ethic.  After high school, and through technical school, Greg worked for his father for six years before leaving Minnesota in 1983, where his sense of adventure brought him to Oregon in 1991, via relocations to Arizona, California, and back to Arizona again. 

After a successful twenty year career in the high technology manufacturing industry as a Purchasing Manager and Contracts Administrator, Greg chose to pursue, and received his real estate license in 2003.  In addition to communicating well on all levels, Greg’s extensive contracting background provides his clients with excellent negotiation ability as well as a high attention to detail.  Since 2003, Greg has consistently updated his skills, received his Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) certification in 2008, and continues to enhance his specializations through continuing education.  Greg is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors, and Oregon Association of Realtors. 

Greg enjoys working with clients in all phases of residential real estate, from first-time homebuyers, to sellers downsizing to smaller homes and condos, to investment property.  Of particular interest to Greg are urban condos and mid-century modern design homes.  Greg lives in S.W. Portland and in his free time, enjoys hiking, kayaking, motorcycling and activities in the city.
